Religious issues in the programmes URP-USRP

Abstract

The article is devoted to the research the cultural and educational policy a Ukraine Radical Party – Ukraine Social-Radical Party, one of the most politically active parties in Western-Ukrainian land. URP–USRP contributed to the preservation of of cultural and Nation traditions of Ukrainian national movement, Ukrainian national consciousness raising, and together with other leading parties of Western Ukraine to speak in defense of national political and socio-economic rights of the Ukrainian people. It is shown, that social-radical forces made a political life in the region more active and that all this time they defend the main aim of the nation which was the creation of the Ukrainian sovereign state. But their strategic miscalculation was insufficient attention to solve religious issues.
