Abstract

In the article is investigated historical development of woman monastic association of nuns on Prykarpattya. Basic attention is spared to illumination of activity of association of nuns in a «catacomb» period of existence of UGKC in 1946–1989. An author describes the process of liquidation of monastic life of sisters of nuns with arrival of soviet power, illegal activity of nuns and their payment in religious life.
