Abstract

The article deals with the nature and canonical principles of the activity of the Patriarchal Council, analyzed the conditions of convocation, the composition of the main participants and the resolution of twenty-two Cathedrals of the Kyiv Church in the pre-dynastic period (1051 - 1590 years). The author emphasizes that the decisions and decisions of the abovementioned
Councils laid the canonical and legal foundations of the Church's unity.
