Abstract

Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky's participation in social and political life of Galicia in the early twentieth century is analyzed. His role in the struggle for the opening of the Ukrainian university in Lviv and for the reform of the legislation on elections to the Vienna Parliament and to the Galician Sejm is studied.
