Abstract

The present article deals with the activities of Ukrainian Christian-social movement in Galicia during the interwar period in the context of its separation for Orient and Occident flows. Special attention is paid to the institutionalization of Christian social movements, to the religious ritual and
political differences in the activity of Ukrainian Catholic political parties and
organizations. The author examines the influence of Metropolitan A. Sheptytsky on the socio-political processes of interwar Galicia in general and on the Christian social movement in particular.
