Features of underground activity of clergy and faithful of the ukrainian Greek Catholic Church on the territory of Stanislavivs diocese in 40-60 years of the twentieth century

Abstract

In the article (on the basis of published and archival documents and historiographical material) features of underground activity of clergy and faithful of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church on the territory of Stanislavivs diocese in 40-60 years of the twentieth century have been analyzed. Special attention the author pays to the formation of the structure of underground church, conducting secret Greek Catholic worship, Greek Catholic relations with the Orthodox, the spread of protests against the illegal status of Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
