Abstract

Given the formulation of the new definition of Uniatism. The main stages of the historical development of Uniate movement. Identified and characterized the main forms of early Uniatism. In the context analyzed the process of formation of Christian culture of Kievan Rus and the phenomena of its manifestations in the spiritual and religious life of ancient Russian society.
