Abstract

The image of objects of living and inanimate nature on icons, artistic works of sacral art and banners from the collection of the Transcarpathian Local History Museum is considered. The role of symbolic images of nature in icon painting is determined. Possibilities of formation of ecological consciousness, using works of Christian fine art and iconography with images of natural elements are specified.
