Abstract

The article analyzes the activities of Greek Catholic monastic communities of the diocese of Przemysl in the interwar period. It is established that in the process of raising the religious spirit of the Ukrainian people a special role have played Basilians, who were under the direct care of Bishop Kotsylovskiy and paid great attention to the pastoral and educational activities. Characterized the activity of women's congregations, the most numerous of which was the Congregation of the Sisters Servants Mary Immaculate. Is is established that under the spiritual leadership of the Bishop Kotsylovskiy operated congregation of St. Joseph conducted an active educational and charitable activities.
