Abstract

The article deals with the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church charity on the basis of the archived sources in the period of the Second Rzeczpospolita. The participation of metropolitan and clergies of Halychyna in creation of orphandage for orphans and disabled that suffered from military actions is considered. The role of sisterhoods and other monastic communities in the creation of proper conditions for orphans is analysed.
