Modern history elimination opinion on Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and its consequences

Abstract

Historical thought about the Elimination of Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in the context of solving the national question in the western regions of the
USSR Abstract. The article presents scientific analysis of works whose authors
consider the national character of Ukrainian Greek Catholic primary reason it
was banned in the Soviet Union. Describing the development of historical research on this subject, shows the relevance of issues as among Ukrainian scientific emigration, and among modern domestic andforeign historians.
