Relations between the Galicia-Volyn state and the Roman Apostolic See in the light of archival documents of the Vatican

Abstract

Professor Fr. Ivan Kozovyk translated 14 letters written in Latin, which were never published in Ukrainian. The letters shed some light on Danylo Halytsky's relationship with the Apostolic See, then Holy Father Innocent IV during 1245-1253.

All letters were written in Lyon (Lugdun).

The letters were collected by the Reverend Father Athanasii Velykyi OSBM.
