Abstract

The main theme that enlivens the most dramatic pages of the books of the famous Russian author Dostoevsky is human suffering, which at first glance is completely meaningless. It is this deep and difficult subject that forces Ivan to stand up to the strength of spirit and dignity of Alyosha in "The Karamazov Brothers". This confrontation ultimately manifests itself as a true search for truth, not a manifestation of atheism.
