Abstract

The purpose of this article is to consider the characteristics of the musical life of Bukovina in the context of the cultural traditions of Galicia, which led to the development of Ukrainian culture in the second half of the nineteenth century.

Cultural ties with Galicia, which develop on the basis of interpersonal communication and through the activities of representatives of the Bukovina "diaspora" and Galicia, had a great influence on the development of the musical life of Bukovina.
