Abstract

This article examines societal-political factors which influenced the activity of Greek-Catholic spiritual leaders during the period of Second Rechi Pospolytya. We analyzed main directions of societal activity of bishop Y. Kozilovskyi with the goal of preserving and developing Christian spiritual values and Ukrainian identity.
