Abstract

The article draws out the social reaction of the Ukrainian western region believers to the process of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCCh) rehabilitation and renewal of its open activity (legalization). It follows the dynamics of changes in social attitudes concerning the church legalization process, its role and place in the process of the national-religious revival of Ukraine.
