Blessed Mykolay Charnetsky and the theological grounds for venerating his relics, through which God’s grace is at work

Abstract

The history of the holy life of Blessed Mykola Charnetskyi is connected with martyrdom. In the Book of Revelation, the God-inspired Author writes about the holy martyrs: «These are those who came from the great tribulation and washed their clothes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb» (Rev. 7, 14). Blessed Mykola Charnetsky is a true example to follow in a spiritual life. Churches were built in honor of the blessed Mykola Charnetsky, his relics are divided and venerated not only in our Church, but also in other Catholic Churches. Thanks to his intercession, God works miracles, heals, because the example of the saint's holiness is a sign of the times and the road to conversion and an example of loyalty to Christ and the Church.
