At the beginning of the scientific analysis of the development of particular law, it is necessary to determine what is inherent or what is included in this law. Canon 1493, paragraph 2, states: "The law of particular law includes all laws, legal customs, statutes, and other legal prescriptions which are not common to the whole Church and to all the Eastern Churches."
