Abstract

Studying the history of the native land, we are convinced that the ascetics of all national initiatives of Ukrainians in Galicia in the XIX-XX centuries were priests of the UGCC. This is evidenced by studies of local historians Igor Andrukhiv, Peter Arsenych, Lyubov Henyk, Volodymyr Kachkan and others. We find many glorious names among the graduates of the Stanislaviv Theological Seminary, including the graduate of this educational institution in 1923, Father Mykhailo Sulyatytsky.
