Abstract

In 2009, the clergy of our Church decided to choose a patron from among the newly proclaimed martyrs. And everyone's eyes fell on the married priest Fr. Omelyana Kovcha. Among all the bishops, monks and nuns, he became the closest and closest role model for our clergy. On April 24, 2009, the Blessed Martyr Fr. Omelyan Kovcha was proclaimed the Patron Saint of the UGCC.
