Abstract

Beginning with the earliest archeological excavations conducted on the territory of Kniazhyi Halych, Lviv University professor Isidor Sharanevych and a man of antiquity, a priest from the village of Zalukva Lev Lavretsky in 1882-1887, they came across in the ruins of the Savior, St. Elijah and Annunciation temples bright and rare crosses-encolpions.
