Abstract

When researching the state of the science of canon law in Ukraine and the UGCC in particular, it is first necessary to outline the subject of research. It will be professional canon law, ie not just teaching and studying canon law within the usual program of higher education, but first of all human resources (specialists) of canon law, the scope of their activities, as well as the work of Ukrainian canonists. Let's see what the branch of Ukrainian canon law has gained in the last period, what is its state and directions of development. The time frame of the study is limited to the period from Ukraine's independence to the present day.
