Abstract

Kyiv Catholic Church at the end of the XVII century. is experiencing its greatest geographical distribution, numbering more than 10 million believers in the area between the Dvina River in the north and the Carpathians in the south; between the Dnieper and the Vistula on the east-west line. The unification of the Mukachevo, Peremyshl, Lviv and Lutsk dioceses has significantly shifted the territory of the Catholic Church on Ukrainian soil.
