Abstract

Among the many types of historical sources that help the researcher to study the history of Prince Halych and Halych-Volyn Russia, the least attention until recently was paid to the monuments of sphragistics. It is known that the term "sphragistics" comes from the Greek word "sphragis" - seal. A special historical discipline - sphragistics - is engaged in the study of signs of certification of documents and things.
